Lauretta Onochie, the social media aide of President Muhammadu Buhari, has responded to Bishop David Oyedepo’s rejection of the Company and Allied Matters Acts (CAMA).
Recall that we reported that Bishop Oyedepo warned the federal government over the new law which seeks to regulate churches and mosques in the country.
Reacting to the clergyman’s comments on Monday, August 17, 2020, Lauretta Onochie stated that Bishop Oyedepo would have to create his own country where he can live by his own laws.
Her words:
“I hope this is not true. If it is, Oyedepo will have to manufacture his own country and live by his own laws.
As long as he lives and operates within the entity called Nigeria, he will live by Nigerian rules and laws. He will do as he’s told by the law. Enough of lawlessness.”
