Cristiano Ronaldo has hit a career landmark as he scores his 700th career goal on Monday in Portugal’s Euro 2020 qualifier in Ukraine. It was his 95th goal for his country.
He scored a penalty in the game against Ukraine as Portugal lost 2 – 1. This hit has earned Ronaldo the 6th spot among the elite group of players who have hit at least 700 goals in their career. Ronaldo is still behind the most prolific player of all time, Josef Bican, the Czech-Australian player who hit 805 goals in his career followed by Romario (772), Pele (767), Ferenc Puskas (746), Gerd Muller (735), and now Cristiano Ronaldo (700)
