Chelsea are not giving up on their pursuit of Sevilla defender Jules Kounde.
The Premier League giants attempted to secure the French center back in the summer, but Sevilla would not lower their asking price.
According to French outlet L’Equipe, Chelsea could be ready to go back in for Kounde, either in January or the summer transfer window.
It is claimed that Chelsea have not forgotten about Kounde, and they would very much like to build their defence around him in the coming years.
A move for Kounde would be even more urgent if centre-back Antonio Rudiger does not sign a new contract, as his present deal expires at the end of this season.
Real Madrid, Barcelona, PSG and Bayern Munich are all interested in luring Rudiger from Chelsea.
