Celine Dion, the renowned pop icon, has made a heartbreaking announcement, revealing the cancellation of all her remaining shows for the 2023-2024 period.
The Canadian singer cited her ongoing battle with a rare neurological disorder as the reason behind her decision.
In a heartfelt tweet, the 55-year-old songstress expressed her deep apologies to her devoted fans, stating, “I’m so sorry to disappoint all of you once again… and even though it breaks my heart, it’s best that we cancel everything until I’m really ready to be back on stage.” Despite the setback, Dion maintained her determination, adding, “I’m not giving up… and I can’t wait to see you again!”
A statement released by her tour management conveyed the tremendous disappointment felt by the entire team: “With a sense of tremendous disappointment, Celine Dion’s Courage World Tour today announced the cancellation of all remaining dates currently on sale for 2023 and 2024.”
The statement also quoted Dion, who acknowledged the challenges of touring, even under normal circumstances, saying, “I’m working really hard to build back my strength, but touring can be very difficult even when you’re 100%.”

Last December, the singer posted an emotional video on Instagram, revealing her recent diagnosis of Stiff-Person Syndrome and the subsequent postponement of her European tour originally planned for February.
Dion explained that the disorder was causing muscle spasms, preventing her from utilizing her vocal cords as she was accustomed to.
The “Courage World Tour” commenced in 2019, with Dion successfully completing 52 shows before the COVID-19 pandemic forced a halt to the remaining performances.
Unfortunately, health issues later compelled her to cancel the North American leg of the tour.
Notably, the “Courage World Tour” marked Dion’s first global concert tour in ten years and her first without her late husband and manager, Rene Angelil, who tragically passed away from cancer in 2016.
Fans and supporters around the world remain hopeful for Celine Dion’s recovery and eagerly anticipate her triumphant return to the stage once she has regained her strength.
