In an interview with Pluzz 89.9 FM, BNXN revealed that they are now on good terms and that the disagreement stemmed from their egos.

Although BNXN expressed his admiration for Ruger’s music, he acknowledged that controversy helps to promote longevity in the music industry.

According to him, singers cannot rely solely on their music to remain relevant in the competitive music scene.

BNXN explained, “You need to understand that first, we are all young. And a lot of time, some people’s egos got attacked sometimes. So, it’s not necessarily like anything. It happens.”

“Those things as I said, are part of the game. I tell you this for sure, we [Ruger and I] are cool because on a level he’s doing his thing and I’m doing my thing. I love his music for what it’s.

He went on to emphasize that a singer must have a distinct personality that sets them apart from the rest.

“But, in this game for longevity, you have to have a personality. You just need to have a personality.

“They gotta know you for something. You can’t just ride with music. You can try, but you can’t just ride with music.

“There just had to be like your supporting persona so people can know you for something [other than music],” he added.

BNXN, who recently changed his stage name from Buju, is a rising star in the Afro-fusion genre. He has been making waves with his hit songs, including “So Lovely” and “Outside,” which have been well-received by fans and critics alike.

Ruger, on the other hand, is a young artist signed to Jonzing World, a subsidiary of Mavin Records, owned by legendary Nigerian musician Don Jazzy.

Despite their brief disagreement, it appears that BNXN and Ruger have now buried the hatchet and are focusing on making great music.
