British fashion designer and Businesswoman, Dame Vivienne Westwood, passed away at the age of 81.
Late Dame Vivienne Westwood is well known for her androgynous designs and slogan T-shirts.
She was a trailblazing British fashion designer who brought punk and politics to the rarefied world of high fashion.
She made a name for herself in the fashion scene with her controversial punk, androgynous designs, slogan t-shirts, and new-wave styles in the 1970s.
According to a statement released on her Twitter handle on Thursday, December West died in Clapham, South London.
The statement read, “Vivienne Westwood died today, peacefully and surrounded by her family, in Clapham, South London.
The world needs people like Vivienne to make a change for the better.”
