Djed Spence in training
Middlesbrough defender Djed Spence has been on the radar of top European clubs and it is likely he will leave the Riverside this summer. A host of clubs in England and abroad have been monitoring his progress for the past year.
German giants Bayern Munich are very interested in Spence and they are ready to meet his valuation come June. The Bavarians are considering a shock sale for France international Benji Pavard who has been linked to Real Madrid in recent weeks.
Spence also has another long standing admirer; Tottenham. The North London side have enquired about Spence who could be avaulavai for £12m,a reasonably low fee in this day. Tottenham are looking to sell Emerson Royal who signed from Barcelona this season for almost £30m.
Spence recently made his England U-21 debut in the last international window, comin off the bench to make his maiden appearance for the Young Lions. Manchester United are remotely interested as they have other transfer issues to aort out and a right-back is not a priority. Spence plays majorly as a right-back and also as a left-back.
With top European clubs on the 21-year-old, it is likely he will be one of the highlights of the coming summer transfer window.
