Atiku Abubakar, the former Vice-President of Nigeria and the Presidential Candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 elections, has urged elected officials from the PDP to prioritize policies that will enhance the quality of life for Nigerians. While Abubakar is currently on a business trip abroad, he expressed his belief that the PDP remains the most viable party capable of alleviating the socio-economic challenges currently faced by Nigeria. In addition, Atiku Abubakar extended his congratulations to Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State and his counterpart from Rivers State, Sim Fubara, on their respective appointments as the chairman and vice-chairman of the PDP Governors Forum. He commended Governor Mohammed for successfully hosting the PDP National Assembly members-elect retreat.
