Arsenal Targets Signing Atletico Madrid Star, Thomas Partey

Thomas Partey who plays for Atletico Madrid is a transfer target for Arsenal. Atletico Madrid chiefs have told the Gunners to meet their asking price for them to have him. Arsenal have also offered Atletico to pick one player from the trio of Bellerin, Lacazette and Torreira.

Premier League side Arsenal are reportedly interested in the signing Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey so as to bolster their squad for next season in all competitions. Since the day the Gunners defeated Chelsea in the final of the FA Cup at Wembley, Mikel Arteta who is the manager has been planning to bring more legs to the Emirates.

According to the report on UK Sun, Arsenal chiefs have offered Atletico Madrid to pick one player from the trio of Hector Bellerin, Lucas Torreira or Alexandre Lacazette for them to have Partey.

Thomas Partey who is a Ghanaian footballer has been superb for Atletico Madrid since he joined the Spanish club nine years ago. But despite offering Atletico Madrid the choice to pick one of their three stars, the Spanish club is still insisting that the Gunners will still have to add £45 million.

This is said to be giving Arsenal chiefs trouble because they are not ready to meet Atletico Madrid’s asking price. The report added that Arsenal may now be considering selling German star Mesut Ozil and Matteo Guendouzi for them to raise more money to buy players this summer.
