All Progressive Congress APC suspends Rochas Okorocha for disrespecting President Muhammadu Buhari and Anti-party, Senator Rochas Okorocha of the All Progressives Congress APC has been reportedly suspended from the party for anti-party activities and insulting President Muhammadu Buhari.
The former Imo state governor Rochas Okorocha was suspended for anti-party activities, according to a letter from the Imo State chapter of the party dated July 12, 2021 that was obtained by Newsmen.
This is to inform you that the All Progressives Congress (APC) Party’s National Working Committee (NWC) has ratified your suspension by the Imo State Chapter of our great party for anti-party activities,” says the letter.
Continuous discreet meetings with the opposition party both at the state and national level, working in opposition to the APC-led administration in Imo state, and flagrant public attack on the person and office of the President, Federal Republic of Nigeria,” according to the ruling party (an APC-led government).
This suspension is in accordance with Article 21 (B) I-VI of the party’s constitution, which was recommended by the Imo State Disciplinary Committee set up to investigate charges of serious anti-party conduct against you,” the APC said. Rochas Okorocha has been suspended by the APC for disrespecting President Muhammadu Buhari. He was also accused of engaging with opposition politicians in secret.
