The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State has decided to temporarily halt its campaign rallies due to the current cash and fuel crisis in the country.
The Chairman of the APC in Ondo, Ade Adetimehin, expressed his support for the residents of the state through a statement released by the party’s spokesman, Alex Kalejaiye. Adetimehin asked all party chairmen and Directors-General to join in the suspension as a show of solidarity with the people.
The Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party in Ondo State, noted the challenges faced by the nation with the increase in pump prices and cash shortages just before the upcoming general elections.
He acknowledged that citizens have the right to be frustrated, but asked them to handle the situation with patriotism and hope for a brighter future.
Adetimehin praised the efforts of the Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu-led administration to improve the current situation and ensure the safety of residents in the Sunshine State. He called on all party members to show understanding and support for those in their local communities.
