Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo, has announced a remarkable initiative to alleviate the financial burden on families by pledging to personally cover the school fees for the third term of the 2022/2023 academic session.
This benevolent gesture will benefit a total of 2,350 students in the state.
The announcement was made during Governor Soludo’s visit to the Urban Girls Secondary School in Fegge, Onitsha, where he had arrived to conduct an assessment.
Demonstrating his commitment to education and the welfare of Anambra State’s students, the Governor assured the school community that he would utilize his personal funds to fulfil this promise.
Addressing the students, Governor Soludo emphasized the importance of maintaining good hygiene practices both at home and in school. He encouraged the young minds to serve as exemplary ambassadors for the state, emphasizing the pivotal role they play in shaping a prosperous future for Anambra.
