The immediate past governor of Lagos State, Akinwumi Ambode, has stated his position over the alleged N9.9bn recently traced to him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Ambode made it clear that there was no personal link with the three accounts which have already been frozen by the EFCC, saying that no account of his contains N9.9bn.
A Federal High Court in Lagos, presided by Justice Chuka Obiozor, had ordered that the three accounts allegedly linked to the former governor be frozen.
Also speaking on the upcoming Sallah celebrations, Ambode prayed that the lessons would serve as a catalyst for brotherliness in Nigeria.
