National Long Distance, ISP, and Sales & Installation Licences Awarded to Airtel’s Fibre Service Unit

Airtel Nigeria Telesonic Secures Three Telecom Licences from NCC  Airtel Nigeria Telesonic Limited, the fibre service arm of Airtel Nigeria, has received three important telecom licences from the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC). According to the latest market updates released on Friday, the company has been granted a National Long Distance licence, an Internet Service Provider (ISP) licence, and a Sales & Installation Major licence.

The National Long Distance licence, which will be valid for 20 years, is set to take effect from July 1, 2024, and will remain in force until June 30, 2044. Meanwhile, the ISP and Sales & Installation Major licences each carry a five-year validity, covering the period from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2029.

These licences mark a major step for Airtel Nigeria Telesonic Limited, positioning the company to expand its services and infrastructure across the country.
