The long-awaited partnership between Adekunle Gold and Zinoleesky has finally materialized with the release of Party No Dey Stop. Adekunle Gold, a Nigerian singer-songwriter, splits his time between Lagos, Nigeria, and Los Angeles, California. He first rose to fame with the hit single “Sade,” a romantic track that borrowed instrumental elements from One Direction’s “Story of My Life.” Shortly after “Sade” was released, Adekunle was approached by renowned African artist Olamide to join his YBNL music label for a two-year stint.
To date, Adekunle Gold, also known as AG Baby, has launched four albums: Gold (which entered the Billboard World Albums Chart at #7), About 30 (a GRAMMY® Best World Album nominee), AfroPop Vol. 1, and Catch Me If You Can (CMIYC). His discography also boasts internationally acclaimed hits such as “Okay,” “Something Different,” “5 Star,” and “HIGH” featuring Davido.
Following a prosperous 2022 with his fourth studio album (CMIYC), Adekunle Gold returns in 2023 with “Party No Dey Stop.” Joining forces with Marlian talent Zinoleesky, they create an infectious tune. PNDS, crafted by Grammy-winning producer Kel-P, is a must-add to any music lover’s playlist.
