The Actors Guild of Nigeria has released a disclaimer to shut down reports making rounds that they had neglected their colleague, Kenneth Aguba.
TalkGlitz reported that the veteran actor had been homeless for months.
The news which made rounds was that the actor who had starred in several Nollywood movies doesn’t have a home of his own.
The veteran was seen in pictures sitting in a shabby environment.
A well-meaning Nigerian had shared photos of him, as he announced that the actor currently had no home and a place to stay.
Taking to the comment section, Nigerians lambasted the actors guild of Nigeria and questioned their purpose of existence.
Reacting to it, Ejezie Emeka Rollas, the National President of the Guild, stated that the Guild has never abandoned Kenneth Aguba.
He revealed that the Enugu State Chapter of the Guild and individual members have been supportive in both provision of accommodation and medical interventions in the past four years to the veteran.
According to the Guild, his matter could be a spiritual issue as it degenerated over the years.
