New Galaxy S23 and Galaxy Book3 devices were unveiled at Samsung’s first Galaxy Unpacked event of the year.
If you weren’t able to tune in live, don’t worry; we have you covered with a full recap of everything that went down at Galaxy Unpacked.
The flagship Galaxy S23 Ultra from Samsung receives a marginal improvement.
Features like a 200-megapixel camera sensor, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, and a more power-efficient display can be found on the Galaxy S23 Ultra with S-Pen. The addition of 256GB of storage to the base Ultra model is a welcome one.
The base price for the S23 Ultra is $1,199.99, the same as the S22 Ultra from the previous year. The product is available for preorder now and will be delivered on February 17th.
The Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus have been updated to be more like the Ultra.
The Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus, from Samsung, look a lot like the S23 Ultra this time around. They share the Ultra’s vibrant color palette and similarly minimalist floating-camera design. The S23 and S23 Plus are minor upgrades to the flagship device, with improved chip performance, camera quality, and battery life.
The S23 and S23 Plus are priced at $799 and $999, respectively, the same as their S22 counterparts. You can place your order for either device now, and it will begin shipping on February 17th.
The Galaxy Book3 Ultra is a premium product designed with artists in mind.
The brand new Galaxy Book3 Ultra is an improvement on previous Samsung laptops. This device has a 16-inch, 2880 x 1800, 120Hz OLED screen and is powered by an Intel Core i7 or i9 processor and an Nvidia RTX 4050 or 4070 graphics chip; it is aimed at creative professionals and other business professionals. All of these powerful features are packed into a device that weighs only 3.9 pounds and measures a hair over half an inch thick.
Although preorders for the Galaxy Book3 Ultra have begun at $2,399.99, we still don’t know when the product will be available for purchase.
Sharper and more detailed screens can be found on the Galaxy Book3 Pro and 3 Pro 360.
Samsung also announced the Book3 Pro and Book3 Pro 360 alongside the Galaxy Book3 Ultra. However, while the Book3 Pro is available in 14- and 16-inch versions, the Book3 Pro 360 is only available in the larger size. Both the Book3 Ultra and Pro have the same 2880 x 1800 resolution, 120Hz AMOLED display.
Price for the Book3 Pro begins at $1,449.99, while the Book3 Pro begins at $1,899.99. You can place your order for either device now, and it will begin shipping on February 17th. However, the regular Book3 and Book3 360 that were part of the Galaxy Book2 lineup last year were not mentioned.
