Black Panther star Michael B. Jordan has taken his first step into the world of fashion and designing, working with Coach Menswear to launch his first fashion collection.
The A-list actor joins the increasing list of celebrities who have expanded their horizons to go beyond acting, reportedly taking inspiration from popular anime show Naruto and other cultural ideas and influences corresponding with his personality and image.
Jordan in a statement claimed his work with the company was a reflection of his goal of bringing fresh perspectives and unique voices.
His line was launched on Tuesday and is a combination of different products, bags, footwear, jackets, hoodies, and t-shirts. The price range starts from $95 and goes up to $2,500.
The star further said that his designs were created in such a way that they could be worn with pride by members of his family, friends, and acquaintances.
Jordan’s fame and celebrity status should draw lots of customers as his role in Black Panther shot his already successful career into the stratosphere.
