Paramount Studios is making a reboot of the 1997 action movie Face/Off.
The Studio has hired 22 Jump Street screenwriter Oren Uziel to write the script, with Neal Moritz producing. David Permut will be the executive producer. No director has come on board the project yet.
The original film was directed by John Woo and starred John Travolta and Nicolas Cage as rivals who swap roles as they take on each other’s face – literarily. It was made on a budget of $80 million and grossed $245 million globally.
