The other performers will include Taylor Swift, Camila Cabello, Shawn Mendes, Big Sean, and Ozuna. Missy Elliot who is also billed to perform, will receive the Video Vanguard Award.
Among the presenters are Billy Ray Cyrus, French Montana, Hailee Steinfeld, Ice T, John Travolta, Keke Palmer, Lenny Kravitz, and Rick Ross.
As for the awards, Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande lead the pack with 10 nominations each. Comedian and actor, Sebastian Maniscalco, will be the host.
The MTV Video Music Awards will be remembered for notable moments like Britney Spears performing with a huge yellow snake and Kanye West interrupting Taylor Swift’s moment.
But more than that, it serves as a platform for performers and lovers of music to converge and celebrate, while recognizing the contributions of the former.
