Davido recently shut down Mayotte a country he has never heard of and he is here narrating his experience.
Davido has never heard of Mayotte, a region of France before he got booked for the event but the love shown to him by the crowd during the performance was unbelievable meaning they know him but he does not know them.
Taking to his social media pages, Davido posted:
‘Mayotte, Never heard of this place until we got booked to perform here ! Arrived two days before the show and had problem communicating with the people because of language barrier, even to order food nah wahala ! Touched that stage last night we all spoke the same language.”

Mayotte is a small country with a population of just over 200,000. The island is situated along the Indian Ocean between Madagascar and the coast of Mozambique.
It is an insular department and region of France officially named the Department of Mayotte, though traditional Mayotte culture is most closely related to that of the neighbouring Comoros islands, with the major languages on the island predominantly French and Malagasy
However, this is not the first time that Davido will be performing in a place that is quite remote and unpopular to a number of Nigerians, as earlier in May, Davido had also performed at the little known country of Suriname in South America, where he sold out a concert that had over 10,000 fans in attendance.
