Ondo Election Aftermath: Policemen Take To Street Protest Over Unpaid Allowances

Police officers who actively took part in the just concluded Ondo state elections are taking over the streets in protest over non payment of their allowances.

According to PUNCH, the police officers went haywire in Ondo town. It was gathered that the they protested in Fagun street in Ondo town ‎chanting various war songs as the development caused traffic logjam in the area.

The protesters ‎were reportedly beating journalists who were trying to speak with them and residents who wanted to take photographs of the protest.
