Brother of Tupac Believes Diddy’s Involvement Should Be Thoroughly Investigated

Mopreme Shakur Expresses Doubts About Diddy's Denial in Tupac’s Murder Investigation Mopreme Shakur, brother of the late rapper Tupac Shakur, has raised doubts about Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ long-standing denial of any involvement in Tupac’s 1996 assassination. This comes after Diddy was mentioned over 70 times in newly released legal documents surrounding the murder case.

In an interview with Piers Morgan, Mopreme expressed his skepticism about Diddy’s innocence, despite the 54-year-old music mogul consistently denying any connection to the crime. “I have my doubts,” Mopreme said, explaining that he believes Tupac’s murder “involved multiple people, planning, and coordination,” and that Diddy could have been part of that plot.

Mopreme recalled a 2008 phone conversation in which Diddy called him to profess his innocence. “He basically said he ain’t had nothing to do with my brother’s murder,” Mopreme shared. However, he told Diddy, “The truth is still yet to come out, so we gonna see.” Mopreme now questions whether Diddy’s statement was completely honest, suggesting, “It’s kinda looking that way, in my opinion.”

Theories about Diddy’s involvement have resurfaced following recent claims by Duane “Keefe D” Davis, who is currently being prosecuted for his role in Tupac’s murder. Keefe D, a known gangster, has alleged that Diddy offered him $1 million to orchestrate Tupac’s assassination. In chilling audio, Keefe can be heard joking with police about Diddy’s alleged request to have Tupac killed.

Mopreme clarified that while he doesn’t fully believe Diddy was definitely responsible, the theory surrounding the rap mogul’s involvement is “high on the list” and warrants further investigation. He said, “We gonna see. I’m not saying nothing until this investigation is over. And then we will see what it is.”

Diddy has been linked to Tupac’s death for decades due to the infamous East Coast-West Coast rivalry between his Bad Boy Records and Suge Knight’s Death Row Records, which had Tupac as its top artist. Keefe D has previously claimed that he oversaw the fatal shooting of Tupac on Diddy’s behalf in September 1996 in Las Vegas, though no solid evidence has emerged to support these claims.

Court documents also allege that after Tupac’s murder, Keefe D flew to New York with a Los Angeles police task force to gather incriminating evidence against Diddy and another gangster, Eric “Zip” Martin.

As the legal proceedings continue, Mopreme and others are waiting to see if any new evidence will finally shed light on the truth behind Tupac’s tragic death.
