Renowned Nigerian chef Hilda Baci revealed that she had embarked on a relentless journey to make her mark on the entertainment scene.
The talented chef unveiled that she had auditioned for the widely-watched reality show, Big Brother Naija, an astonishing five times, all of which ended in disappointment.
Baci, a culinary virtuoso with a remarkable Guinness World Record accolade to her name, candidly shared her aspirations and endeavors while appearing on Cool FM Nigeria’s program, The Big Friday Show, hosted by reality star, Tacha.

She revealed that her strategic plan was to utilize the reality show as a stepping stone toward showcasing her culinary prowess on a larger stage. “I actually tried to get on Big Brother [Naija] for a while. I think I auditioned about four or five times,” she disclosed.
The celebrity chef further outlined her strategy, noting that her intention was to leverage the popularity gained from the reality show to launch her own distinctive cooking challenge, aptly named the “cook-a-thorn.”
“The plan for the cook-a-thorn was still in the pipeline, so my goal was to go to Big Brother and then come out and do the cook-a-thorn,” she added.
