The Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress ( APC) Bola Tinubu, has emerged as the winner of the presidential election in Ondo and Kwara State.
Tinubu defeated Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party and Peter Obi of the Labour Party in the Ondo State with a total of 369,924 votes.
According to the results announced on Monday by the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) collation officers for the 18 Local Government Areas (LGAs) in Ondo, Atiku polled 115,463 votes to emerge second.
The Labour Party candidate, Peter Obi, got 44,405 votes, and the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) presidential candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso, polled 930 votes.
However, in Kwara State, Tinubu polled a total of 263,572 votes, defeating Abubakar Atiku of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who polled 136,909 votes to emerge second.
While the Labour Party candidate, Peter Obi, got 31,166 votes and the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) presidential candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso, polled 3,141 votes.
