Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), has emerged victorious in the Lagos poll, defeating the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
According to the Lagos State INEC REC, Obi received 582,664 votes in nine local government areas, while Tinubu scored 541,850 votes in eleven local government areas. Obi secured the majority of the votes cast in the state, defeating the former Lagos state governor Tinubu.
