Media personality, Daddy Freeze, has issued a statement regarding the recent Anti-Igbo speech given by singer Brymo.
Brymo has faced backlash and calls for a boycott following his controversial statements. Despite this, Daddy Freeze has expressed his continued respect and admiration for the singer but has advised him to apologize for his hurtful and hateful words.
He stated that although Brymo has a right to his opinion, his speech crossed the line into hate speech and could potentially lead to a loss of fans and followers.
Daddy Freeze urged Brymo to take responsibility for his words and apologize to the Igbo ethnic group. He wrote, “Dear Brymo, I respect you. Don’t throw that respect down the drain.
I know you have the right to an opinion. However, this isn’t an opinion, this is ‘H8’ speech and will cost you your fans and followers. I would recommend an apology to the igbos.”
