Nigerian singer, Ayra Starr performed at the ongoing AfroChella festival in Ghana.
The Afrochella Experience celebrates Africa’s diverse culture and the vibrant work of African creatives & entrepreneurs; this year’s edition was themed ‘Afrofuturism.’
While performing at the festival, she was seen racing around the stage while trying to give her fans an upbeat display, when she accidentally slipped and fell on her back.

She promptly stood back to her feet and resumed performing as if nothing had occurred instead of feeling humiliated.
She has taken to Twitter to express her traumatic experience and urged the organizers to take the stage cleaning more seriously.
In a series of tweets, she criticized AfroChella for negligence and warned them to clean up their stage following every artist’s performance.
She prayed for her crush not to see the video of her falling down on stage.
She wrote, “AfroChella next time y’all should clean your stage after every artist performance. That fall was very unnecessary and painful
The righteous one will fall and still stand up again. E no dey your Bible?
I just hope my crush never sees that video of me falling.
