Reactions After Kenneth Okonkwo Says He Is 'Obicentric'

Popular Nollywood actor cum politician, Kenneth Okonkwo has given his stance on the incoming presidential election while hinting at his preferred candidate.

The veteran actor who dumped the All Progressive Congress, APC over its Muslim-Muslim ticket stated in an interview with Arise TV that before coming for the interview, a Northern friend of his who hails from Kano State advised him to be ‘Obicentric’.

Speaking further, Okonkwo avowed that anyone who says a Northern Muslim would not vote for a Christian is simply making a false utterance.

When asked if he has joined any party yet, Kenneth Okonkwo gave a NO answer but claimed that he is supporting Peter Obi’s presidential ambition.

Coming to the aspect of social media campaigns, Kenneth Okonkwo said that in 2015, APC utilized social media to the fullest and subsequently clinched victory. He stated that both APC and PDP are aware that Peter Obi is making waves via social media and that’s why they are rattled.
