Manchester United Woo Marco Silva To Replace Jose Mourinho

Reports have it that Manchester United could have Marco Silva as the club’s manager in lieu to Jose Mourinho.

The Portuguese manager who just arrived to the English football this January was tasked with keeping relegation-threatened Hull City in the Premier League.

Despite failing to lead the Tigers to safety, Silva impressed during his time at the KCOM Stadium and was subsequently handed the Watford job.

The Hornets enjoyed a bright start to the 2017/18 campaign and Silva has continued to receive plaudits, even amid their recent drop-off.

It seems Silva’s work during his so-far brief spell in the Premier League has caught the eye of a top flight big gun.

According to The Independent, United are monitoring potential candidates in case Jose Mourinho leaves.

And among the possible successors to the 54-year-old is apparently his compatriot, Silva.

United are thought to have a keen interest in Tottenham gaffer Mauricio Pochettino as well.
