London club Fulham have come under the spotlight as their teenage sensation Fabio Carvalho has once again been linked to English giants Liverpool. The Cottagers were able to keep Carvalho for another six months when talks between Liverpool and Carvalho broke down on deadline day (January 31).
Carvalho,19,has been a key figure for Fulham in their quest to return to the Premier League as they currently top the Championship table. Carvalho has made 29 appearances this season and has scored 8 goals and assisted 6, averaging two goals in every seven games.
Manchester United were also keen on the Portuguese talent but Carvalho has eyes only for Liverpool. He is very eager to join Liverpool this summer and an agreement will be reached in the coming weeks.
Liverpool signed Colombian winger Luis Diaz from Porto for around €50m. Diaz has impressed at Anfield and has surprisingly settled very quickly in Merseyside. Carvalho will be looking to replicate that and adjust quickly to get in the squad with top players in the attack lines such as Mo Salah,Sadio Mané, Taki Minamino,Bobby Firmino and Luis Diaz.
