Legendary Brazilian football star Ronaldinho has been accused of partying with a group of models while under house arrest at a luxury hotel in Paraguay.

The two-time FIFA World Player of the Year spent his 40th birthday in a Paraguayan jail with his agent and brother following their being nabbed attempting to enter the country with fake passports in March 2020.

Paraguayan newspaper HOY reports that eyewitnesses spotted the two playing hosts to several women until the early hours; a breach of the terms of their release and night-time curfews imposed in the region due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The source claims to have seen “at least two women at a time” paying them a visit, carrying presents, and high-quality beverages.

The famous ones enter directly via the car park and the ones who aren’t are driven up to the door and come in via the front. They dance and sing karaoke”, said the source.

Citizens of Paraguay are prohibited from partying between midnight and 5 am on any day of the week, and certainly, if they are under house arrest.

Ronaldinho and his brother could be released in the coming weeks pending a hearing over whether to suspend their sentence.
