It’s no longer news that Omah Lay is the new wave disturbing the air in the music scene and it seems very certain the shine will be for a very long time.
Today, July 22 marks exactly two months Omah Lay released his debut album “Get Layd” and to the surprise of many, his first project peaked at the top of the music charts in no time. However, one would expect that streams will dwindle with time but that is not the case – Get Layd still remains the number one in Nigeria streaming platforms – Audiomack & iTunes to be specific.
Omah Lay has taken to his Instagram page to celebrate this feat.
He wrote:
Exactly two months ago, we put out a few songs and called them ‘Get Layd’. Two months later, Get Layd is still the #1 album, Bad Influence is still the #1 song ????????????
Get Layd is a 5-track EP with “Bad Influence” and “You” as the biggest hits – as a matter of fact, all the five tracks are major hits.
