The mimic kings are back again! This time, they pick on the action-packed visuals for DaBaby and Roddy Ricch’s track Rockstar.

Only a few weeks ago, the mimic ambassadors known as Ikorodu Bois achieved international recognition with an interpretation of Netflix’s movie Extraction.

Lead star Chris Hemsworth and filmmakers The Russo Brothers were so impressed that the siblings offered the Nigerians an opportunity to the premiere of the sequel.

Now, the funny band of brothers (and occasionally sister) have made a video clip of their take on the music video of Rockstar by American artists DaBaby and Roddy Ricch.

In the original version, the hip hop stars are seen fighting an increasing number of zombies in visually appealing action sequences, the likes of which can be compared to a feature film.

Captioning theirs with the words ‘If Rockstar was shot in Ikorodu’, the Nigerian mimics deliver an impressive shot-for-shot impression of comic proportions.

The Ikorodu Bois deserve to be applauded for their painstakingly challenging efforts as it is not easy to do what they do. This time around, their props and costumes come close to those they are mimicking.
