According to reports, the trailer for the much-anticipated sequel to DC’s Wonder Woman will be released in December.
Gal Gadot’s casting as the Amazon warrior princess had been met with severe backlash and criticism, with many saying her slim build didn’t match the physical description of the character in the comics. But Gadot would go on to silence them with a charismatically outstanding performance.
Wonder Woman (2017) was a big hit and its lead star was given widespread praise, not just for her accurate portrayal of the skilled fighter, but for also showing us an emotionally vulnerable angle.
Fans and critics have been looking forward to seeing the heroine return and will be glad to get a glimpse of what is in store for them when the trailer lands.
Wonder Woman 1984 (the official title of the sequel) is directed by Patty Jenkins (who also directed the first movie) and it will be released in June 2020.
