The Governor Of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, hosted Kashim Shettima, running mate to the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Monday in his residence, Abuja.
This was made known in a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary (CPS) of the Kogi State governor, Onogwu Muhammed.
He disclosed that Yahaya Bello and Kashim Shettima “brief closed-door meeting.”
According to Muhammed, the meeting “centered on various plans and strategies for winning the forthcoming presidential election for the ruling party.”
They also discussed issues bordering national development, unity of the country, peace, and security.
Speaking after the meeting, Bello said that APC’s victory in 2023 will be a win for Nigerians. According to him, the party has the right strategies in place to tackle the challenges across all boards.
Bello as part of his commitments to the victory of the party had donated his campaign building to the Presidential flag-bearer, Bola Tinubu.
